This certificate has been designed to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for understanding the risks of working with abrasive wheels, as well as safe working practices and procedures for handling, mounting and storing abrasive wheels. The candidate will also learn how to implement controls to reduce the likelihood of injury and reduce risk. The candidate will be aware of manufacturer responsibilities, employer responsibilities and employee responsibilities with abrasive wheels, through exploring health and safety legislation. Candidates will be able to produce a risk assessment of the handling, mounting and storing of abrasive wheels, and detail which specific hazards can be present.

This certificate has been designed to allow the candidate to understand and demonstrate knowledge of the potentially dangerous health risks associated with working with asbestos and materials containing asbestos. The candidate will learn the correct health and safety procedures when coming into contact with asbestos, or materials containing asbestos within the workplace. Please note that this course does not qualify or permit the learner to actively handle asbestos or asbestos-containing materials, as a higher level of training is required to comply with legislation with the handling of asbestos.

This certificate has been designed to allow the candidate to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for reducing the risk of injury in the workplace from repetitive tasks involving manual handling. The candidate will be aware of the laws in place for manual handling and be able to recall principles and procedures for safe manual handling. Candidates will be aware of poor handling techniques, and the strains that these place upon the body. The candidate will also be able to recognise risks of manual handling and act to reduce them within the workplace.

This certificate has been designed to allow the candidate to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to be implemented to reduce the risk of injury in the workplace. The candidate will be aware of the laws regarding manual handling, and able to recall the principles of safe manual handling, as well as the control measures and procedures in place to reduce the risks of harm from manual handling. Candidates will be aware of the key musculoskeletal groups involved in repetitive manual handling tasks and the types of injuries these groups within the body can sustain with improper manual handling. The candidate will also be able to carry out a risk assessment on manual handling tasks, with knowledge of the types of risks that certain tasks can produce.

This Impact Moling For Underground Apparatus Course teaches cndidates how to tackle underground installation projects. 

This certificate has been designed to allow the candidate to demonstrate the skills and knowledge
required to suitibly inspect and audit ongoing and completed street works. The candidate will be able to understand and recall legislation, codes and regulations that govern street works safety, quality and compliance. The candidate must also be able to navigate and explain reasonings for poor quality works and non-compliance, understaning how to recognise these whilst conducting a works inspection report. The candidate will also be able to understand reporting and resolving issues of non-compliance, poor safety and of low-quality works.
