Basic First Aid Course
Purpose:
This short course provides first aid knowledge and provides candidates with information on current procedures. It is not a qualification and only demonstrates a basic level of care or for personal interest.
Apporpriate for:
All persons requiring certification in basic life support (BLS).

Method of delivery:
Training is delivered by both practical, realistic and theory sessions, all materials supplied.
Course objectives:
On completion of this course, the candidate will be able to carry out:
- Resuscitiation (CPR)
- Recovery position (unconscious casualty)
- Control of bleeding
- Treatment of burns and scalds
- Treatment of minor illnesses
- Call emergency services
